Meet the Team: Denisha Brazzle

Denisha’s at home among our kiddos, always knowing how to best connect and communicate with them on their level.

Denisha Brazzle joined our team after teaching some of our kids at Pleasant Ridge Montessori, where she’s a beloved paraprofessional for a 3-6 year old classroom. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Denisha ran her own learning pod for 6 kids. Prior to that, she worked at the Goddard School on Red Bank Road.

Denisha’s classroom management skills, Montessori/Goddard background, and entrepreneurial spirit brings so much to our team. For our first ever Compassion Camp in 2024, a collaboration with our friends at All Saints Episcopal Church, Denisha led us in strategizing schedules, developing age-appropriate activities, and managing the needs of 24 kids. We truly could not have done that week without her!

She’s with us every week in the summers, co-leading our “Care-Free Families” Friday Playgroup in Pleasant Ridge, helping us develop appropriate care and space for 0-3 year olds and their older siblings who join us on summer breaks. You can also connect with Denisha for after school tutoring in early literacy skills, and we’re planning more fun events with her for summer 2025.

Denisha knows firsthand the challenges of parenting and educating kids. She’s the single mother of two amazing girls, ages 7 and 9, and when she’s not quietly pouring into other people’s kids, you can find her traveling with close friends or at home baking with her family.
